After serving her Jamaican community in Jamaica 🇯🇲 for years, Samantha moved to the Cayman Islands as the first Natural Hair Specialist to operate an only All natural hair salon in 2019. Driven by her passion for healthy long hair, Samantha took a step further to educate herself on Alopecia and other issues that affect the hair scalp. She became a Hair Loss Practitioner in 2021 and now offers Consultations and treatments for Alopecia and thinning hair successfully at the New Growth Naturals hair clinic, an extension of the salon.

Inspired by her Clients complaints of not knowing what to do with their natural hair during the terrible COVID-19 pandemic when all Beauty salons were closed, she took the world stage of YouTube to teach how to care for natural hair regardless of the texture. She has been doing hairstyling videos, DIY hair products, and sharing her journey to Waist length experiences on her New Growth Naturals channel. To date, our well-trained team of over three natural hair specialists, under the guidance and supervision of our Beauty Pioneer Samantha, serves our natural hair community in the beautiful Cayman Islands.
